科学网—为什么用了AI润色，论文还因语言问题被拒？

很多科研作者 会 疑惑：明明已经用AI把论文“润色”过了，为什么投稿后，编辑和审稿人还是会指出：
l Language needs significant improvement
l The manuscript requires extensive editing
l The writing does not meet journal standards
甚至有些论文直接因为 “语言问题”被拒稿。问题往往不在于：“英语语法是否正确”，
而在于： AI 能改句子，却未必真正理解 您的 论文 手稿 。
1. AI会“改顺”，但不一定“改对”
原文 ：
Participants were categorized into several age groups: young (< 40 years), older (40-49 years), and oldest (>50 years).
AI润色后：
Participants were classified into three age groups: young (< 40 years), older (40-–49 years), and elderly (>50 years).
专家润色 后：
Participants were classified into three age groups: young (< 40 years), middle-aged (40-–49 years), and older (>50 years).
表面上看， AI版本语法完全正确，表达也很流畅。但问题在于：AI将“oldest”直接改成了“elderly” —— 在医学与社会科学写作中容易带有 “衰弱”“高龄弱势群体”等负面含义 的 词， 很多国际期刊已经不推荐使用这一 表达。
真正的专业编辑不会只看语法， 还 会考虑：
l 学术语境是否合适
l 用词是否符合国际规范
l 是否可能引起审稿人误解
因此，专家最终采用了更加中性、规范的 “middle-aged”和“older”。
2. AI能润色句子，但未必理解作者真正想表达什么
原文 ：
According to the results of the interaction between factors, they were put into three types, as shown in Table 4.
AI润色 后：
Based on the nature of the interaction results, the relationships were categorized into three types, as summarized in Table 4.
专家润色 后：
Based on the nature of the interaction results, the relationships were categorized into three types, as shown in Table 4.
AI这里把 “ as shown in Table 4 ” 改成了 “ as summarized in Table 4 ”。 “summarized”意味着表格内容只是“部分概括” ， 但作者实际想表达的是 “完整列于表4” 。
对于科研论文来说，这种细微差异可能影响：
l 数据是否完整
l 结果是否充分展示
l 审稿人对研究严谨性的判断
AI 也许 更擅长 “语言替换”，而专家编辑更关注“这句话 作者本意 想表达什么 。 ”
3. AI不会主动发现全文矛盾
原文 ：
Abstract: A total of forty healthy male New Zealand rabbits were placed into four groups.
AI润色 后：
Materials and Methods: Forty Male and female Japanese healthy adult rabbits were were placed into four groups.
专家润色 后：
C omment ： T here was contradictory information in the paper that needed to be rectified.
AI在润色时，并没有意识到：摘要和方法部分使用了不同实验动物 —— 文稿存在前后矛盾 ，
它只是继续进行了语言修改。
而专业编辑则会立即指出： “ 文稿存在实验对象不一致的问题，需要作者核查原始实验信息。 ”
这正是高影响力期刊最看重的地方：不仅要语言正确，更要逻辑严谨、表达规范、术语准确、全文一致。
